On February 25, 2023, around 2:30 a.m., the Crystal Lake Fire Department (CLFRD) responded to a working house fire on Amberwood Drive. The incident was escalated to MABAS Box 5-341, and upon arrival, heavy fire and smoke were visible from the Charlie side and roof area of the garage. Firefighters quickly assessed the situation and began suppression efforts. The conditions were intense, with significant heat and smoke making it a challenging scene for emergency responders.
