The Xia'ermen Mine in the Henan Oilfield is a high-yield well characterized by high backpressure. To address operational challenges and improve efficiency, the QJ-I multi-functional reservoir system has been introduced and installed. This system utilizes the liquid produced by the oil well itself to perform timely hot washing operations, protecting the reservoir and extending the pump inspection cycle. As a result, the number of workovers is reduced, and it also helps prevent crude oil theft. The QJ-I type multi-purpose storage device is composed of several key components, including a tank, a liquid-gas measuring mechanism, a pressure gauge for direct reading, an oil-gas separation unit, a safety valve, a heating system, and more. The oil and gas from the well are separated through individual well pipelines, with the separated natural gas being heated and utilized. The measuring mechanism allows for real-time monitoring of the liquid volume within the container, ensuring accurate tracking of fluid levels. To enhance security, the system integrates anti-theft measures that prevent unauthorized access or theft of crude oil stored in the container. When the container needs to be filled, the unloading process is facilitated by the elastic energy stored within the system. During hot washing operations, the heated production fluid at the bottom of the container is injected into the annular space around the casing, effectively cleaning the well and improving its performance. This not only extends the pump cycle but also contributes to more efficient and sustainable oil production.
