Production technology and process of tungsten-copper alloy

The method of manufacturing a uniform particle size of 1-5 microns nickel powder, copper powder and tungsten powder or iron particle diameter of 0.5-2 micron tungsten powder and tungsten powder mixture of 5 to 15 microns, then mixed with 25% -30% The organic binder (such as paraffin or polymethacrylate) is injection molded, the binder is removed by steam cleaning and irradiation, and sintered in hydrogen to obtain a high-density tungsten alloy.

The patented process of Brush Wellman in the United States is copper oxide powder (mixed and ground reduced to copper) rather than metallic copper powder, which forms a continuous matrix in the sintered compact and tungsten as a strengthened framework. The high expansion component is constrained by the nearby second component and the powder is sintered in a lower temperature wet hydrogen. According to the introduction of very fine powder, the sintering function and densification can be improved to over 99%. This process has achieved great success in industrial applications, with low cost and high output value, and the components produced have a net shape and a near net shape.
