DDi13 engine is a new generation of heavy-duty diesel engine independently developed by Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle. It has three advantages: economy, superior reliability, and power. Successful ignition means that the Dongfeng commercial vehicle powertrain business will enter a new stage.

It is understood that the DDi13 engine engine development project started the development of concept technology in 2014. On January 11, 2018, the first product-level prototype was successfully tested. It will become a heavy-duty engine that meets the six-stage emission standard of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle.
