Since May 5 this year, the mandatory new standard for LED lamps revised by the Mexican Ministry of Economic Affairs has officially entered into force. This standard provides detailed requirements for the minimum energy efficiency requirements, classification, testing procedures, labels and market supervision of LED lamps for outdoor use. On the Luminous Flux Mark, the total luminous flux measurement of all outdoor luminaires shall not be less than 90 of the standard value on the product marking. The standard also requires that all outdoor LED luminaires have a power factor of not less than 0.9 and a total harmonic distortion of no more than 20.
