Drew Gresik was on the scene at 2324 S. California where a fire broke out in a vacant, 2.5-story frame building. The fire department switched to a defensive operation around the time these photos were taken. Tower 5 had been repositioned into Sector 1, and Squad 1's Snorkel unit was working with a master stream in Sector 2. From what I could tell, the fire was located in the attic or second floor. I didn’t see any visible flames, but there was a significant amount of smoke coming from the structure. These are some of the images he captured.
