This incident highlights the quick response and coordination of the Chicago Fire Department. The 16th Battalion, along with Engine 32 and Engine 127, worked efficiently to contain the fire and prevent it from spreading further. The use of a tower ladder and the strategic positioning of engines helped manage the situation effectively. It’s always impressive to see how well-trained and prepared these firefighters are, even in challenging conditions like an alley fire. Drew Gresik captured some great shots that give a real sense of the action and dedication involved in these emergency responses.
