1. The crusher should be fixed on a cement foundation. If the workplace changes frequently, the motor should be mounted on an H-shaped steel base. For diesel-powered models, ensure that the diesel power is slightly higher than the grinding power and match the pulley groove. The outer end surface of the pulley should be on the same plane.
2. Before starting the metal crusher, check that all connecting bolts are tightened, the drive belt is appropriately tight, and the power cord is in good condition. Ensure the motor shaft and the main shaft are parallel.
3. Check if the hammer is intact, the sieve pore size is appropriate, and there is no damage. Manually drag the belt to check if the spindle rotates smoothly without jamming or friction.
4. After starting, let the machine idle for 2-3 minutes to check if the rotor rotation is correct and if the sound is normal. Only proceed with work after the machine reaches its rated speed smoothly.
5. During operation, pay attention to the mill's function. Feed uniformly to avoid blockages. Do not overload the machine for long periods. If vibration, noise, bearing temperature is too high, or foreign material is sprayed, stop immediately for inspection before continuing.
