Ningxia Thermal Power Enterprise Accelerates the Control of Desulfurization and Denitrification Pollution

Dawukou Power Plant No. 3 and No. 4 motor desulfurization and denitrification devices have completed expert review and bidding, and construction will soon start. Other 11 thermal power companies under construction or proposed are also actively preparing for the construction of supporting desulfurization and denitrification devices. Ningxia relevant departments are actively applying for a national debt fund of 1 billion yuan to the country, and arrange special funds for environmental protection, to provide thermal support for thermal power companies to build new desulfurization and denitrification devices. At the same time, the relevant departments change their functions and actively provide enterprises with technical and information support to help them avoid detours and introduce and master scientific and effective desulfurization and denitrification technologies and equipment. According to reports, thermal power companies adopt advanced technology and the desulfurization capacity can reach over 90%, resulting in substantial reductions in sulfur dioxide emissions, so that sulfur dioxide emissions in Ningxia will reach national standards during the 11th five-year period.
