The APS system has four different power ranges and offers three gear ratios to maximize application flexibility. The APS's I/O interface can be directly connected to most steering sensors, while in stand-alone mode it can be directly connected to most steering encoders. APS's range of safety features supports reliable operation in Class 3 and Class 4 in accordance with EN 954-1 safety standards. The APS complete safety system activates the emergency brake directly via the CAN bus to ensure safe braking of the vehicle. In addition, APS can continuously send its system status reports to the vehicle control system.
The software of the APS system can be customized through application programming and a wide range of parameter sets. By customizing, system users can get more performance, such as automatic center positioning, speed steering balance, steering sensitivity adjustment, high mobility and extensive diagnostic support.
