This is from Steve Redick:
The 6600 block of Monticello today… it looked like there were a couple of good rooms on the second floor, but I arrived way past the main action. Still, it seemed like a well-organized operation overall. I saw a member get moved into the Skokie ambulance—didn’t look too serious, but I’m not sure if they were actually transported or just being checked out. Finally got some shots of the new Evanston truck and some photos of the Skokie tower post rebuild. The Skokie truck was in a great position at the mouth of the alley, with the rig set up perfectly for ladder and equipment access.

It’s always interesting to see how quickly crews respond and how they manage the scene. Even though I wasn’t there for the initial arrival, the setup and coordination looked solid. The photos should give a better sense of what the scene looked like. Definitely worth checking out if you're interested in local fire operations or just want to see some real-world firefighting in action.
