This message is from Eric Haak:
On Sunday morning, August 26th, Naperville responded to a Box Alarm with an EMS Box. By the time I arrived, the fire was already under control. I couldn’t get too close, so I took these photos from a distance. Here are some of the units that were on scene — three Naperville engines, Naperville Truck 1, an Oswego engine, a Lisle-Woodridge engine, and the Plainfield tower ladder.
Below are the images taken by Eric Haak:
- **Naperville FD Engine 4**
- **Naperville FD Engine 2**
- **Naperville FD Engine 10**
- **Lisle-Woodridge FPD Engine 55**
- **Plainfield FPD Tower 19**
- **Oswego FPD Engine 4**
- **Another unidentified engine**
- **Aerial view of the fire damage at an apartment complex in Naperville**
- **Another shot of the fire-damaged apartments**
These photos give a good sense of the scale of the response and the number of departments involved. It’s always interesting to see how quickly first responders can mobilize, even when the fire is already out. Thanks for sharing these, Eric — they’re a great visual record of the event.
