Zibo City Honored as China's New Material Name
The China Material Research Society recently awarded Zibo City the title of “China's New Material Capitalâ€, and Zibo City ranked the sixth among 43 new material bases nationwide. Seven industrial clusters, including chemical additives, pharmaceutical intermediates, high-grade building materials and new wall materials, occupy half of the high-tech industries in Zibo City. At the same time, Zibo City, as the country’s first comprehensive new material achievement transformation and industrialization base, owns the only national industrial-level research center in Shandong Province—the State-level Engineering Research Center for New Ceramic Materials.
