Lu Huapu, member of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Coordinated Development Experts Advisory Committee and director of the Institute of Transportation Studies at Tsinghua University, said in an interview with the media that as a centralized and non-capital-capitalized carrying area, Xiong'an New District will build an integrated traffic system led by green traffic. Lu Huapu stated that the development goal of the Xiong'an New District transportation system is to build a comprehensive transport system dominated by green traffic. The new district should provide rail transport services with the backbone as the backbone, and use regular bus transportation as the main body to achieve high accessibility, supplemented by shared bicycles, and build a green, advanced and highly intelligent world-class transportation system.

According to the “Thirteenth Five-Year Plan” of Hebei Province, 1,970 charging stations and 66,000 charging piles will be built in Hebei Province in 2020; Xiong'an New District will be even more advanced as a benchmarking city, and charging piles will become a core road. It is understood that Baoding and other places have vigorously promoted new energy vehicles. If the requirement of “green traffic” is met, Xiong'an New District will promote new energy vehicles even more.
