The Hong Kong-listed company, Weichai Power Co., Ltd. has laid the foundation for the new plant of the Zhuzhou Xiang Torch Machinery Manufacturing Co., Ltd., which was built in Zhuzhou, Hunan Province. The company plans to build an annual capacity of 20 million pistons in the new plant.
Zhuzhou Hunan Torch Manufacturing Co., Ltd., located in Lusong District, Zhuzhou City, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Weichai Power. The company has invested a total of 150 million yuan in the new factory building in Dongjiabu Hi-tech Park in Lubao District, Zhuzhou, and laid the foundation on September 23. It is expected that the new plant will be completed in the third quarter of 2010, and the project will be put into production in 2011.
It is reported that the annual sales volume of Pistons in the new plant of the Zhuzhou Xiang Torch Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will reach 20 million, and the sales revenue will be 200 million yuan, and the profit and tax will be 37 million yuan.
