Shanghai Metrology Institute laser scanner calibration standard device developed through acceptance

[ China Instrument Network Instrument Development ] On July 10th, the Municipal Bureau of Metrology and Testing Technology Research Institute's complex large-scale measurement innovation team undertook the city's scientific research project "Development of laser scanner calibration standard" successfully passed the acceptance.

The project adopts a Morse cone connection structure that is easy to disassemble and has high reproducibility. A special split target is developed, and the concentricity of the target of the laser tracker and the target of the laser scanner is within 0.05 mm. The laser tracker directly calibrates the spherical coordinates, eliminating the need to apply multiple points on the surface of the scanned target ball. Based on this target, a laser scanner calibration standard is built, which can provide 15 standard distances in the range of (300-3000) mm, and the measurement uncertainty reaches U=0.1mm, k=2. After scientific and technological achievements, the technical indicators of the project have reached the international advanced level.
The laser scanner calibration standard can realize the spatial measurement performance evaluation of various instruments such as laser scanner, laser radar, indoor GPS, etc. The structure and method can also be extended to the general target research of various large-scale measuring instruments.
The completion of the project has laid a solid technical foundation for the development and construction of the three-dimensional space coordinate standard device and the ball array baseline device in the Zhangjiang Phase II base project of Shanghai Metrology and Testing Technology Research Institute. It is also a large aircraft in East China and even the whole country. The traceability of large-scale equipment in the fields of wind power and shipping provides strong technical support.
