Article 8.1.1 The slurry pump shall be selected according to factors such as the delivered slurry flow rate, required head, slurry concentration, tailings size and abrasion.
The number of pump stations in 8.1.2 shall be determined by calculation based on the required head and the pump type selected. The number of pumping stations should be reduced if the equipment allows.
Article 8.1.3 The location of the pumping station shall be determined in accordance with the following requirements:
First, it should be designed into the ground type, and avoid excessive excavation;
Second, the accident slurry of the pumping station and the slurry emptied by the external pipeline can be discharged to the nearby accident pool;
Third, on a stable foundation;
4. Avoid being located in depressions or flooded areas. When it is unavoidable, the floor of the pumping station should be higher than the flood level with a flood return period of 50 years or more, or other flood prevention measures should be considered;
5. Have appropriate energy conditions
