Dow Jones reported that Taiwanese tire manufacturer Maxxis has announced that it will build the company's first factory in India Sanand in Gujarat, India City, this project has received support from the local government.

Recently, the high-level delegation led by President Chen Ronghua of Magis held talks with the chief minister of Gujarat, Anandiben Patel, and discussed the planning of the new factory.
Anandiben Patel, the chief minister of Gujarat State, welcomed Maggie’s investment and stated that he would give full support and expressed the hope that the establishment of a new factory will bring more job opportunities to the local people and solve the employment problem of some young people.
Margis is one of the suppliers of Maruti Suzuki and Honda, and the investment in construction in India will reach 4 billion rupees (about US$65 million). The construction of the factory requires about 35 acres of land area, and Magis said it will soon submit a formal application to the local government.
