In recent years, the cross-border mergers and acquisitions of China's construction machinery companies continued, Zoomlion acquired Italian CIF, Liugong acquired Polish HSW, Sany acquired Putzmeister in Germany, XCMG acquired Schneing and other series of mergers and acquisitions completed, with the help of international leaders. Technology Zhong Lian has developed a carbon fiber boom pump truck that exceeds 100 meters. Liugong supplemented the product line of the bulldozer plate and produced a C8 concrete pump truck in conjunction with Sany. The development of these new products has greatly shortened the distance between China and the international advanced level, especially in the field of concrete pump trucks. Chinese products can fully represent the development level of the world's industries.

According to statistics, in the first five months of this year, China's construction machinery products exceeded 21 million U.S. dollars worth of 21 kinds of goods, and the total export value of 21 kinds of goods reached 6.135 billion U.S. dollars, accounting for 84.15% of the total export value.

Most of the 21 products except for dredgers saw sales volume increase and prices fall. However, the export volume and average export unit price of the four products of the front shovel loader, other crawler-type bulldozers, other road-building machines and graders and other motor-driven pressure lines have been floating down to different degrees during the same period, especially for the front shovel loaders in January-June. Total exports of 836 million US dollars, ranking the largest amount of the entire construction machinery industry exports. At the same time, the sales volume and average export price of the front shovel loader decreased by 18.46% and 16.65% respectively compared with the same period, which is also at the forefront of the industry's downward trend, indicating that the manufacturers of traditional equipment with large export volume of construction machinery in China are still continuing. Low-price sales, coupled with the pressure of appreciation of the renminbi, will have a great impact on these export-oriented products, eventually resulting in “larger scales and lower benefits”.

After many years of development, China’s export of construction machinery has always been dominated by “general trade”. Some products in the same industry are “highly similar” and have low technical content. They have flooded into some markets at low prices. The traditional industries have caused an impact, which has led some countries to increase the use of certification requirements, improve the technical fortress, adjust tariffs and other means to limit the import of our products.
