Hyde Marine has undertaken a contract to retrofit the Hyde GUARDIAN Gold ballast water treatment system for Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL).
The contract will enable Royal Caribbean Cruises to install the Hyde GUARDIAN ballast water treatment system and the GUARDIAN Gold ballast water treatment system with a total of 27 cruise ships, including newbuildings and modified vessels.
Hyde Marine has completed the modification of more than 10 Royal Caribbean Cruises cruise ship ballast water treatment systems, and the order for the modified ballast water treatment system signed for the next series of cruise ships will ensure that each ship will be provided with a fulfillment date in 2016.
