Factors conducive to magnetic recovery

    From the perspective of the magnetic structure itself, there are many factors that affect the grade and recovery rate of the mineral processing products. Factors that contribute to recovery are:
    (l) The depth of the magnetic field and the magnetic field force are large. The depth of the magnetic field refers to the distance of the magnetic force from the surface of the magnetic pole. The large depth of the magnetic field means that the magnetic particles at a position far from the surface of the magnetic pole can also be attracted by the magnetic pole.
    (2) A single polarity arrangement along the material transport trajectory, and the attracted particles have no magnetic tumbling effect;
    (3) The sweeping belt should be long so that the magnetic particles can be fully recovered;
    (4) The ore point is in the region with the largest magnetic field force, and the purpose is to make the particles get a large magnetic force as soon as the magnetic field enters the magnetic field, which is beneficial to the recovery of the magnetic particles. The factors that contribute to the improvement of concentrate grade are:
    (1) The magnetic field depth and magnetic field force are smaller, so that it can only attract particles with higher magnetic properties;
    (2) The polarity is alternated along the direction of the material transport track, so that the ore particles are repeatedly tumbling. The non-magnetic particles sandwiched in the magnetic particles are thrown out in the magnetic tumbling, and the grade of the beneficiation increases with the increase of the number of magnetic tumbling; (3) There should be a certain selection area, so that the magnetic product has a certain selection effect. .
    For the above-mentioned factors, the requirements of the ore should be comprehensively considered. For example, when sorting dense and massive coarse magnetic particles, it is not advisable to use alternating magnetic poles in the direction of material transportation to avoid magnetic tumbling. At the time, the gravity is greater than the magnetic force and falls into the tailings. When sorting fine particles, it is necessary to use alternating magnetic poles to improve the magnetic concentrate grade by multiple magnetic tumbling. But for materials with very weak magnetic properties. It is not appropriate to use alternating magnetic poles, because the magnetic particles with weak magnetic properties are also small in magnetic force, and are easily thrown into the tailings during magnetic tumbling.
    Under certain conditions, the product quality will be reduced and the recovery rate will be reduced accordingly. On the contrary, increasing the recovery rate, the grade of the product will be reduced, how to improve the quality and quantity of the product is an important task of the magnetic system research.
    The factors affecting the magnetic force of the magnetic separator are relatively complicated and mutually restrictive. The main influencing factors are:
    (1) The effect of the ratio of the magnetic pole width and the pole gap width of the open magnetic system to the magnetic field;
    (2) the influence of the open magnetic system pole pitch on the magnetic field;
    (3) The influence of the height, width, radius and number of poles on the magnetic field.
