On July 14th, the largest large-scale fertilizer project in Xinjiang was completed and put into production. The ceremony to put the project into production was held in Korla. The total investment of PetroChina Tarim Fertilizer Project is 2.93 billion yuan, and the scale can reach an annual output of 450,000 tons of synthetic ammonia and 800,000 tons of urea. Construction began on August 15, 2007. It is the modernized chemical fertilizer device with the largest production capacity of single-stage equipment in China. The project's completion and production fill the gap in the production of large-particle urea in southern Xinjiang, making Xinjiang an important large-scale fertilizer production base in China.
