CFD 4-5-6 involved in rollover crash 3-28-12 (update)

I just came across some interesting photos online! The images feature a 2006 Ford Expedition that was once assigned to units 4-5-6 and was involved in a serious crash back in late March. These photos are now part of an online auction hosted by the City of Chicago. It’s crazy to see how vehicles can end up looking after such incidents—especially when you consider the force of a rollover accident. Here's what caught my eye: there are multiple angles of the vehicle, giving you a pretty good idea of the extent of the damage. I’ve seen a few photos already, but it seems like they're all high-quality shots, which is kind of cool if you’re into automotive mishaps or just curious about what happens in situations like this. The first image really highlights the front end of the car—it looks like it took quite a beating. There’s also another shot that shows the side profile; you can clearly see where the vehicle sustained significant damage from the impact. A third photo zooms in even closer, almost like it’s trying to tell a story about the event. And finally, there’s one more angle that captures the rear section, which appears relatively intact compared to the rest of the car. It’s amazing how these types of accidents happen, isn’t it? You always hear stories about them, but seeing the actual aftermath brings everything into perspective. If you’re someone who likes collecting unique items or maybe even restoring older cars, this might be something worth checking out. Who knows, maybe someone will pick it up and give it a new life? Anyway, thanks for sharing this with me, Dennis—I thought it was worth passing along. Let me know if you’ve heard anything else about this auction or similar finds! (Oh, and if anyone’s interested, the images are being hosted on the City of Chicago’s official auction page. They’re definitely worth a look!)
