Alfa Laval Ballast Water System Received USCG Approval

Alfa Laval's explosion-proof ballast water (product warehouse supply) processing system PureBallast 3.1EX has been approved by the US Coast Guard (USCG) for barges on the US coast.

It is reported that one year ago, Alfa Laval's PureBallast system was certified by IECEx and can be used in international waters for explosive environments.

The PureBallast system has a simple design that saves 50% of space compared to other systems. Alfa Laval has also recently introduced reactors for small vessels, which have been able to serve large, medium and small vessels and comply with international and regional regulations.
