Test Description: Four sensors are placed on different axles for 3 tests, 1 and 2 bridges respectively; 2 and 3 bridges; 1 and 3 bridges. The ABS actuator controls the air supply to the three rows of brake air chambers on both sides, respectively, through the shaft brakes detected from the sensors. All tests were conducted in the empty condition.
Test results: The sensors are arranged on the axles 1, 2 and will lose a part of the braking effect, but the wheels will not be completely locked; on the 2nd and 3rd axles, the first axle tires are tested twice without exception. It can be seen from the results that, in the case of ABS, if the saddle of the main vehicle is high and the position of the sensor is improperly placed in the case of an empty vehicle, a bridge is easily worn out. If the heavy trailer has no ABS, it is conceivable that the vehicle is under braking. Tire wear will be even greater.
Solution: Adjust the saddle height to install ABS
1. Adjust the height of the saddle of the main vehicle so that the load on the first axis should not be too small. Try not to brake in an empty state.
