Trojan Marinex launches inline lamp driver ballast water treatment system

    Trojan Marinex points out that because its ballast water treatment system now includes sinline lamp drivers, it helps reduce wiring and electrical panels, and total system footprint is reduced by up to 30%.

    Mark Kustermans, marketing manager at Trojan Marinex, said, "We recognize the synergy that connects our UV lamps to our drives, which helps our systems deliver lower power consumption."
    It is reported that the inline lamp driver will constitute Trojan Marinex's entire ballast water treatment product line, including various types of ballast water treatment systems with throughputs from 150 m3/h to 1,500 m3/h on July 8, 2016. Passed the IMO type certification.
    According to Trojan Marinex, recent orders show that the inline drive structure of the ballast water treatment system immediately resonates with shipowners and market demand.
    According to Kustermans, “In the past, due to the greater flow rate, the power consumption of UV ballast water treatment systems was quite high for ships. However, with our low energy solutions, larger ships no longer need to force the use of chemicals. The basic ballast water treatment system, larger ships can now utilize and benefit from UV technology. For example, the company's 1000 m3/h UV ballast water treatment system has a maximum installed power of 44 kW, which will help The shipowner of a larger ship is prepared to install the system on board the ship with available power."
