The project has invested a total of 878 million yuan, using benzene, maleic anhydride, methanol as raw materials, using domestic advanced technology and production equipment, including maleic anhydride production using benzene fixed bed catalytic oxidation process, THF production using maleic anhydride esterification hydrogenation The process realizes the recycling of water resources and steam condensate in the production process, and utilizes THF recovery tower and methanol recovery unit for material recovery and recycling. The company's tetrahydrofuran products will be used as raw materials for subsequent derivative products such as spandex and will become part of the petrochemical industrial chain of Nanjing Chemical Industry Park.
