NSK has developed super wear-resistant bearing steel materials for rolling bearings through synthetic carbide technology and a special alloy material. This special design is mainly used for the guide rolls of continuous casting equipment. Bearings made from this material have a lifespan that is more than twice as long as conventional bearings. Through testing of this super-abrasive bearing, it was found that the bearing not only has strong abrasion resistance, but also the surface layer and the core performance are quite good.
